Toronto Roller Derby Promotes Whip It!

Posted in News, Toronto Roller Derby, Uncategorized on April 21st, 2008 by admin

Toronto Roller Derby helps promote Whip It during the Toronto Film Festival.  In September Whip It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and Toronto Roller Derby held a exhibition bout at Dundas Square to help promote the movie.  ToRD skaters were dressed in Hurl Scout uniforms and spent the weekend doing Whip It promotions where ever the movie’s director and star – Drew Barrymore – was.  Here are some photos from the event.  Photos taken by Kevin Konnyu.  To see more of Kevin’s photos click here.
